1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when creating an account (name, email, date of birth, gender, city, phone number) and when booking or providing services (booking details, payment method details, OTP confirmations). We also collect verification documents for companions, including government-issued ID and selfie images, which are processed by our third-party verification partner and not retained on our servers beyond verification.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to operate and improve the Platform; match clients with suitable companions; process payments and manage wallet transactions; send transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, payout notifications); send promotional communications (with your consent); investigate complaints and disputes; and comply with our legal obligations under Canadian law, including PIPEDA.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information with companions only to the extent necessary to fulfil a booking (e.g., client first name and approximate location). We share information with payment processors, background-check providers, and other service providers under strict data processing agreements. We may disclose information to law enforcement when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to operate the Platform (session management, CSRF protection) and optional analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our service. You can control optional cookies through your browser settings. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active and for 7 years after closure to meet our tax and regulatory obligations. Booking records are retained for 7 years. Background check documents are destroyed within 90 days of a verification decision.
6. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and in certain circumstances request deletion. To exercise your rights, email contact@meetngreetww.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Wallet and payment data are tokenised through our PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor. We conduct regular security audits. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
